Paris Travel Tips

Paris is always a good idea. Indeed it is. No matter how often you return to the French capital there are always new places to discover. One week ago I spent another weekend and my itinerary was challenging: half a dozen new cafés, great restaurants, and a few hidden passages waited to be discovered. So here is a short list of quite cool places to visit when in Paris – my ‘Paris Travel Tips’ for you.

Wild & the Moon
This place is fab if you love organic and healthy food. Go there for breakfast and enjoy a delicious Açai bowl, good coffee and homemade cold pressed juices. The food is one great factor, the other one being the lush plants all over the place. Thumbs up!

Empreintes Concept Store
This new concept store is shop and gallery in one. It features amazing ceramics from various artists across France. It also hosts furniture, tableware and a wonderful Season café on the upper floor. Worth visiting!

Coffee Stand
This brand new café has just appeared recently and serves great coffee and homemade cakes as well as lunch. The interior is very urban and cool. The café keeps an understated appearance with its name being only written in small letters on the menu. Officially this is the place with no name! And most probably a pop-up installation. Drop by at 107 Avenue Ledru Rollin!

CC Coffee
This coffee place will cheer you up with its inviting and colourful facade. Here again, plan a stop over for a good cup of joe and a refreshing juice. Relaxed atmosphere!

Ober Mamma
The place to be! Ober Mamma is one of three Italian places across town – to many THE best Italian place in Paris. Expect to queue or book a table, order creamy Burrata as a starter and go for pizza. In a nutshell: Fab food, fab atmosphere, great crowd!

L’Alcazar
Now this restaurant is glamorous. It was my personal highlight! Go for dinner, book a table and immerse in a fabulous French cuisine served in a real urban jungle. The restaurant is covered in plants and guests sit on comfy wooden chairs at marble tables. The food is exquisite and the atmosphere chic but not arrogant. Great service!

Eugène Eugène
When you turn an old greenhouse into a restaurant the result can only be fantastic. And Eugène Eugène proved this by all means. You will have to drive out of Paris and into a lovely residential suburb called Puteaux, but the hassle is worth it. Especially if you go for brunch like me. Expect a tropical vibe, lots of plants (again) and a refined interior design. And the brunch is just phenomenal. Keep extra space in your tummy and have a light dinner the day before!

So now it’s up to you! Book your trip to Paris and see those places for yourself. You won’t regret it! Promised!
