My love relationship with Paris is multilayered. Love, the city life, the food, I could go on and on. But another aspect is design made in Paris. So let me introduce Red Edition to you. Red Edition is a Paris based design label since 2006. They are specialized in beautiful yet simple and colourful furniture designs. And let me add: They’re designs have a certain ‘je ne sais quoi’. A dash of Paris if you want so!

Their latest collection is spot on. It seems to have a certain glamorous aura of the 1920s with a very contemporary twist. The new ‘Wicker Sofa’ with brass accents is one of my personal highlights! It looks glamorous, cool, urban, stylish all in one. Or how about those new stools? The combination of wood, textiles, and brass is just ‘magnifique’! Shall we talk about the ‘Totem Mirror’ too? How beautiful is it? Is it just a mirror or an art piece too? I think it is both!

Red Edition is Paris based but their designs can be labeled as international. A global team of designers comes up with new ideas but one thing seems to be coherent in all their pieces: a certain Parisian DNA. Maybe it is just my imagination and my romanticized idea of Paris – but I think with a piece of Red Edition furniture you also bring a piece of Paris into your home. No matter where you are!
